DJ Floops is celebrating the launch of Floops Foundation, his second album and the next chapter after his 2022 debut, Finding Floops. Released on September 11, 2026, the 10-track collection gives listeners a new way to connect with the artist: through the songs, and through the life behind them.

There’s a story behind the sound

Many of the songs on Floops Foundation are rooted in real-life stories, written and told in song. A moment that might otherwise pass becomes a lyric. An experience becomes a melody. Something personal finds a place in the music—and, perhaps, in someone else’s life too.

That is part of the invitation with this album. Enjoy the rhythm on the first listen, then come back for the words. There is more to discover beneath the hook.

A little tease

Some of these songs began long before there was a beat. They began in real life. Which moments made it into the music? Listen closely—the stories behind the songs are part of the journey still to unfold.

Ten tracks. Plenty to discover.

From Puja in Yuh Kutiya and Jhandi to Going to Guyana and Love Won’t Fade Away, the tracklist moves through different moods. Titles such as Too Much Bread (Anita from Mississauga) offer their own intriguing starting point, while You Add Me (Dance Mix) and Gayatri Mantra (Psytrance Mix) bring another dimension to the collection.

The album leaves room for listeners to find their own favourite—and their own connection to a song—without giving away every story at once.
